公募研究「淡島千景資料の多角的研究 ― 宝塚・映画・五輪・野球」（研究代表者：羽鳥隆英）の成果を含む特集展示が、演劇博物館の常設展示の一部として開催されています。入場無料ですので、ぜひお立ち寄り下さい。

【展示解説パネルより】
淡島千景は1924年2月24日、東京に生れた。本名は中川慶子。1941年に宝塚歌劇団に入団し、娘役を中心に活躍する。1950年に映画女優に転身し、日本映画界が最盛期を迎えた1950・60年代を通じ、数多くの名作に出演する。1970年代以後は商業演劇とテレビドラマを中心に活躍し、生涯現役を貫いた。2012年2月16日逝去。享年89。
逝去後、ご遺族のご厚志により、約3,000点と言われる貴重な遺品が演劇博物館に寄贈された。本特集では一部を初公開する。戦後期を代表する女優の生涯を体感いただければ幸いである。
Awashima Chikage was born in Tokyo on February 24, 1924 and her real name was Nakagawa Keiko. In 1941, she joined Takarazuka Revue and specialized in playing star female roles. She appeared as a star actress in a number of classical films during the golden age of Japanese cinema in the 1950s and 1960s. She focused on commercial theater and television dramas since the 1970s and continued working until she passed away on February 16, 2012 at the age of 89.
After her death, her family graciously donated approximately 3,000 of her treasured belongings to Theater Museum. We are pleased to display a special selection for the first time. We hope that this exhibition will remind you of one of Japan's greatest actresses in the post-war era.
